About Mexican Heart
Mexican Heart is a passionate Danish company that specializes in bringing authentic Mexican specialties and gourmet products to the Danish and European markets. Behind the company are us, the married couple Guadalupe and Jakob, who together have created a platform where Danes and other Europeans can easily access the best flavors and products from Mexico. Guadalupe, born and raised in Mexico, brings her deep knowledge and love of Mexican gastronomy to the company, while Jakob, her Danish husband, shares her enthusiasm and dedication to promoting these quality products. Together we live in Denmark, where we run Mexican Heart with a mission to deliver authentic Mexican flavors to our customers.
The story behind Mexican Heart
The idea for Mexican Heart was born on one of our many trips to Mexico. Every year we visit Guadalupe’s family and travel around Mexico to explore the unique gastronomy of the many regions. On one of these trips, we were inspired to share the amazing flavors and products we experienced with the Danish and European audience.
With our deep love for authentic Mexican food and a desire to make these exquisite products available to everyone, we decided to start Mexican Heart in 2016. Since then, we have been importing and distributing gourmet products from dedicated Mexican producers that we have personally met and established relationships with. Our goal is to ensure that all our products represent the best and most authentic from Mexico.
