Nopales – cactus from Carey is a delicious ingredient for your cooking from Mexico.

Cactus nopales are a great ingredient for your salad, vegetarian tacos or as part of a stew. The flavor is mildly acidic and otherwise similar to lettuce/cucumber. Remember to add feta cheese if you use edible cactus nopales in a salad.
