Altotinto Alta Reserva is produced from the best grapes, a blend of Shiraz/Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Nebbiolo and Tempranillo.

Each grape variety is used in equal proportions in the wine, fermented and aged for 20 months in oak barrels until bottling, then rested for a further 12 months to achieve maximum harmony and integration between the grapes to bring out the characteristics of each grape variety and the selected oak barrels.

The result of this meticulous and lengthy process is a Mexican red wine in a class of its own, and completely out of the ordinary.

Altotinto Alta Reserva exudes notes of oak, chocolate, vanilla, coffee, pepper and an oily texture in the mouth.

You can enjoy it now, but there’s also a lot of ageing potential in this Mexican red wine, which is typical of the great wines. Altotinto Alta Reserva hides great wine experiences – both short and long term.

Contains sulfites.

The most renowned and recognized Mexican wine districts are located in Baja California, which is a direct extension of the US state of California. Baja California accounts for around 80-90% of wine production in Mexico.

The Mexican winery Altotinto, which produces this Mexican red wine, is also located in Baja California in the region of Ensenada, and is thus incorporated among the very best Mexican wineries.
