Morita chili 100 grams
It is a smoked chili, about 3 cm long, with a smooth, shiny surface that resembles a blackberry. When fresh, it’s a type of jalapeño that ripens for a longer time before being picked, though it’s smaller than the chipotle it comes from. Tip for a spicy and delicious salsa: mix the chiles with roasted red tomatoes or tomatillos, garlic, onion and salt. Comes in a nice ZIP-lock bag to keep your morita chiles nice and dry.
